Every year, patients from across the United States travel to Seoul for plastic surgery, skin treatments, dental work and hair restoration. Korea combines highly specialized clinics, advanced devices and experience with natural-looking results, and many patients plan treatment around a vacation.

The flight is long and recovery happens far from home, so careful planning matters. Cliniclo plans the whole trip for you, from the first consultation to follow-up after you are back in the US.

How Cliniclo arranges your trip from the USA

Cliniclo is a registered foreign patient facilitator (외국인환자 유치업) in Korea. We handle the planning so you can focus on your treatment and recovery:

  1. Free online consultation. Send your goals, photos if relevant, medical history and travel dates. We reply by email or WhatsApp, taking the time difference with the US into account.
  2. Clinic matching and quotes. We shortlist suitable Seoul clinics and doctors and collect itemized quotes in Korean won so you can compare like for like.
  3. Appointments. We book your consultation and treatment dates around your flights and confirm who will treat you.
  4. Travel support. Airport pickup, accommodation close to your clinic, and help with visa documents if your nationality needs a visa.
  5. Interpreter on the day. An interpreter can join your consultation and treatment so you understand every step.
  6. Recovery and follow-up. We check in during recovery, accompany follow-up visits and stay in touch after you return home.

How long to stay in Korea

Because the flight from the US is long, many American patients add a few extra days so the first post-treatment check-up happens before they fly. As a general guide, many skin treatments need only a few days, eyelid and nose surgery about a week or more, and facial contouring or body surgery two weeks or more. Your surgeon should confirm when it is safe to fly before you book your return ticket. See our planning checklist.

Costs and payment

Clinics in Korea quote in Korean won (KRW). We ask each clinic for an itemized quote that lists the doctor, anesthesia, tests, medication, follow-up visits and any overnight stay, so you know what is included before you travel. Ask your bank about card fees for payments in KRW. US health insurance generally does not cover cosmetic treatment abroad.

Aftercare when you are back in the US

Before you leave Korea, we make sure you have your operative or treatment records in English, a medication list and a clear follow-up plan. Some US doctors are reluctant to treat complications from surgery performed abroad, so it helps to identify a local physician before you travel.
