Seoul is one of the closest major centres for cosmetic surgery and skin treatment for Australians, with direct flights from Sydney and only a small time difference. Many Australian patients travel for rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facelifts, skin lasers and dental work.

Cliniclo arranges the whole trip, from choosing a clinic and doctor to airport pickup, accommodation, interpretation and follow-up after you get home.

Travelling from Australia to Korea

How Cliniclo arranges your trip from Australia

Cliniclo is a registered foreign patient facilitator (외국인환자 유치업) in Korea. We handle the planning so you can focus on your treatment and recovery:

  1. Free online consultation. Send your goals, photos if relevant, medical history and travel dates. We reply by email or WhatsApp, taking the time difference with Australia into account.
  2. Clinic matching and quotes. We shortlist suitable Seoul clinics and doctors and collect itemized quotes in Korean won so you can compare like for like.
  3. Appointments. We book your consultation and treatment dates around your flights and confirm who will treat you.
  4. Travel support. Airport pickup, accommodation close to your clinic, and help with visa documents if your nationality needs a visa.
  5. Interpreter on the day. An interpreter can join your consultation and treatment so you understand every step.
  6. Recovery and follow-up. We check in during recovery, accompany follow-up visits and stay in touch after you return home.

How long to stay in Korea

The flight is shorter than from Europe or North America, but plan enough days for your follow-up visit before flying home. As a general guide, many skin treatments need only a few days, eyelid and nose surgery about a week or more, and facial contouring or body surgery two weeks or more. Your surgeon should confirm when it is safe to fly before you book your return ticket. See our planning checklist.

Costs and payment

Clinics in Korea quote in Korean won (KRW). We ask each clinic for an itemized quote that lists the doctor, anesthesia, tests, medication, follow-up visits and any overnight stay, so you know what is included before you travel. Ask your bank about card fees for payments in KRW.

Aftercare when you are back in Australia

Before you fly home, we make sure you have your records in English and a follow-up plan, and we stay in touch while you recover in Australia.
