Patients from the United Kingdom travel to Seoul for rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facial contouring, skin treatments and dental work. Korea’s clinics are highly specialized, and many British patients combine treatment with a first visit to Seoul.

Cosmetic treatment is generally not available on the NHS, and planning surgery abroad needs care, especially around recovery and aftercare at home. Cliniclo arranges every step of the trip from the UK.

Travelling from the UK to Korea

How Cliniclo arranges your trip from the UK

Cliniclo is a registered foreign patient facilitator (외국인환자 유치업) in Korea. We handle the planning so you can focus on your treatment and recovery:

  1. Free online consultation. Send your goals, photos if relevant, medical history and travel dates. We reply by email or WhatsApp, taking the time difference with the UK into account.
  2. Clinic matching and quotes. We shortlist suitable Seoul clinics and doctors and collect itemized quotes in Korean won so you can compare like for like.
  3. Appointments. We book your consultation and treatment dates around your flights and confirm who will treat you.
  4. Travel support. Airport pickup, accommodation close to your clinic, and help with visa documents if your nationality needs a visa.
  5. Interpreter on the day. An interpreter can join your consultation and treatment so you understand every step.
  6. Recovery and follow-up. We check in during recovery, accompany follow-up visits and stay in touch after you return home.

How long to stay in Korea

With a long-haul flight home, plan enough time in Seoul for your first follow-up visit and for swelling to settle before you fly. As a general guide, many skin treatments need only a few days, eyelid and nose surgery about a week or more, and facial contouring or body surgery two weeks or more. Your surgeon should confirm when it is safe to fly before you book your return ticket. See our planning checklist.

Costs and payment

Clinics in Korea quote in Korean won (KRW). We ask each clinic for an itemized quote that lists the doctor, anesthesia, tests, medication, follow-up visits and any overnight stay, so you know what is included before you travel. Ask your bank about card fees for payments in KRW. Some UK cards charge foreign transaction fees.

Aftercare when you are back in the UK

Before you return to the UK, we make sure you have your treatment records in English and a follow-up plan. It is worth telling your GP about treatment abroad and knowing where to go if you have a concern after you return.
