How long to stay in Korea
With a long journey home, allow time for your first follow-up visit before flying. As a general guide, many skin treatments need only a few days, eyelid and nose surgery about a week or more, and facial contouring or body surgery two weeks or more. Your surgeon should confirm when it is safe to fly before you book your return ticket. See our planning checklist.
Costs and payment
Clinics in Korea quote in Korean won (KRW). We ask each clinic for an itemized quote that lists the doctor, anesthesia, tests, medication, follow-up visits and any overnight stay, so you know what is included before you travel. Ask your bank about card fees for payments in KRW. Payments are made in Korean won; ask your bank about currency conversion fees from Swiss francs.
Aftercare when you are back in Switzerland
We make sure you have your records in English and a follow-up plan, and stay in touch during recovery in Switzerland.
